What's Open: Not only will visitors be able to appreciate the history of donkey wheel house, which celebrates it’s 120th anniversary in 2011, but also the variety of activities and organisations that use and reside in the House. Whilst currently undergoing renovation works throughout the building, you will be able to step into the 3rd floor ballroom and view the work in progress and imagine the vision of what is to come in the near future, appreciate the staircase leading from the ground floor to the 3rd floor and see the ornate heritage lift located in the centre of the building which has operated since it was installed in September 1929. During the weekend, there will be a number of activities happening including Bus Projects exhibition, The Repair Workshops, and Lightcycle exhibition all in the basement spaces, with various enterprises located in the Hub Melbourne office spaces on the 3rd floor. STREAT will be selling coffee on the ground floor on Saturday only.
Opening Hours: 10am to 4pm - Saturday and Sunday
Special Note: Pram and wheelchair access for first floor: a lift to third floor is available but is very narrow. Some wide prams and wheelchairs may not fit.
