About MOH

Board & Governance
Melbourne Open House was founded by eight professionals who came together under the Committee for Melbourne’s 2008 Future Focus Group (FFG) leadership program. The first two Melbourne Open House events in 2008 and 2009 were delivered under the FFG program.
These founders wanted to establish MOH as an independent, ongoing annual event after the FFG program came to an end. Melbourne Open House was therefore incorporated as a not-for-profit association in Victoria in 2009. This was the first step towards ensuring the event’s longevity as a vital part of Melbourne’s annual event calendar.
Today MOH is managed by 13 committee members with the assistance of Emma Telfer, Marketing Consultant and Laura Sullivan, Marketing Co-Ordinator. This team is assisted by an enormous number of volunteers.
